Shiru Iti - (Israeli Songs, Comedy and Israeli Contemporary Dance)
(Conducted in English with some Hebrew)
The 12 class session will alternate between Israeli Contemporary (Rather Than Folk) Dance (age appropriate level), comedy in Hebrew, and Israeli Contemporary Tzofim Music.
The kids will learn a bit of each that they can perform at the open house in December for Chanukah. We intend to work separately with Seniors in Seacrest to learn some of the same songs.
For those Tarbuton students who want an additional performance, there may be one at Seacrest with the Seniors.
**There will be no additional rehearsals outside of the weekly class.
This program will be open to non- Hebrew speakers as well. Conducted in English with all performance songs, skits, and dance in Hebrew or using Israeli Music.
The instructor is a professional songleader, music instructor and has over 20 yrs experience as the music director of a Jewish Day School.
