Adults ages 20 something to 70 something participate in Cafe v'Ivrit and attend Open houses for Chanukah and Purim.

Current Tarbuton Participants are:

  • 90% unaffiliated - meaning they don't belong to a Synagogue or frequent  functions at the JCC or other  Jewish programs
  • 10% of the Ivrit b'Ivrit students supplement day school and/or Sunday school experiences with the Ivrit b'Ivrit program.
  • Only 10% of the families attending Ivrit b'Ivrit classes Israeli with Hebrew the primary language spoken at home.
  • 90% of the Ivrit b'Ivrit program participants are American; 50% of these families have one Israeli parent.  The remainder have a strong cultural connection to Israel and a desire for solid Hebrew language instruction.
  • Open House participants are 50% Israeli and 50% non-Israeli.
The community is a vibrant multi-cultural, multi-lingual community with children and adults sharing in the fun.
