The Tarbuton's educational focus is on Hebrew language acquisition and retention, culture and Israel. But, it is equally about fun, friends and community for all ages.
Programs are: fun, affordable, conducted in Hebrew, driven by community interests, and designed to give participants what they want close to their home.
We believe you can't really learn to speak Hebrew conversationally by taking a class. Students truly learn when they immerse themselves in the culture and find ways to use their language skills on a regular basis with friends.
With that in mind, the Tarbuton works hard to create a vibrant center close to home for classes, activities and social events so the center can be a part of their daily life.
We hope the children will grow up together, and adults will find life long friends.
