Hebrew & Jewish Holiday Classes

Kids learn how to speak, read and write modern Conversational Hebrew, celebrate Jewish Holidays with Israeli traditions and learn stories from the Torah.
Teachers are Israelis who teach in Hebrew. Each has a BA in Education or in Hebrew Language. They have years of experience in Israel and the US.
Conversational Hebrew - Children's Ulpan
(Conducted in Hebrew)
Lesson plans are designed to get children speaking Hebrew. Class is fun and creative including stories, games, arts & crafts and music. Available for ages 3-8. (Broken into groups of ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-8) Great for beginners, and designed for kids who understand, but do not speak Hebrew with confidence.
Reading & Writing Hebrew
(For bi-lingual Students; Hebrew is spoken at home)
This hour emphasizes reading and writing skills. It is conducted in Hebrew and therefore children must understand Hebrew to participate. Ages Kindergarten-8th grade. (Broken into smaller age ranges with sufficient enrollment) We use materials designed for use with students in Israel.
Conversational & Reading/Writing Combination Hour
(Conducted in Hebrew; with translation when needed)
This hour provides an option for older children to work on speaking and reading/writing skills. This class is designed for 8-12 yr olds. (Broken into smaller age ranges with sufficient enrollment)
