United Jewish Federation - San Diego

Our own United Jewish Federation sponsors its own trip to Israel for local children at a substantially reduced rate. They subsidize the program to encourage San Diego teens to visit Israel.

תכנית קיץ לישראל - 4 שבועות

תכנית המיועדת לבני נוער בגילאי 14-18 החיים בחו"ל ומעוניינים לטייל חודש בארץ במסגרת חוויתית ומיוחדת. התכנית מופעלת ע"י צה"ל והצופים ומשלבת בני נוער מישראל ומחו"ל. יחד מטיילים בארת ממטולה עד אילת,מכירים מקרוב את הצבא ורוכשים חברויות לכל החיים. התכנית כוללת שבוע גד�"ע בבסיס צבאי,טיולים ואטרקציות ברחבי הארץ

Tzofim - Chetz v'Keshet

This program is run by the Israeli Scouts and the Gadna,the educational arm of the Israeli Army as well in cooperation with the Ministry of Absorption and Jewish Agency for Israel.

A unique program that combines Israeli youth with diaspora youth. Through Gadna,participants experience the army training process including:learning navigation skills,visiting battlefields and exploring military history up-close.

Other Tzofim Chetz V’Keshet activities include a two-night camping excursion and sports activities such as rafting and bicycling. Participants also have a chance to experience life on kibbutzim and moshavim,exposing them to a broad range of Israeli society and culture.

תכנית התנדבותית הנמשכת שנה וכוללת התנדבות בעיירת פיתוח, שכונות או פנימיות בישראל.
התכנית מיועדת לבני נוער דוברי עברית בגילאי 17-19
המשתתפים בתכנית זוכים לחוויה של חיים בישראל במסגרת המאפשרת תרומה, מעורבות חברתית, פיתוח עצמאות, מנהיגות וחיבור ישיר לישראל.

Offering 7-8 different choices of Israel trips combined with other locations such as Spain,Morocco,Poland and Rome as well as those that are more focused on volunteer work vs active outdoors experiences.
